I'm excited to announce my upcoming debut adult historical fiction novel Brighter Than Her Fears, due to release January 2024. The novel is inspired by my great-great-grandmother's story, which I discovered on Ancestry.com. It's Pride & Prejudice in 1880's Asheville, North Carolina. Stay tuned! 

 

I started writing children's books after reading to my own young children. They devoured Magic Tree House, Geronimo Stilton, and other early reader series. Like these well-known series, my Dream Seeker stories offer kids short, easy reads with familiar characters and lots of adventure. Saving Halloween, is geared for the older middle grade reader and was inspired by Roald Dahl's Matilda -- with a twist. It's Matilda meets The Munsters!
